GRADING SCALE

100-90 is an A
89.9-80 is a B
79.9-70 is a C
69.9-60 is a D
below 60 is failing

Points are given to assignments based on the amount of time that is given to complete the assignment. On average, an assignment is given 10pts a day. Journals are worth 5pts. Folder checks are worth 10pts.

EACH 6 WEEKS IS A SEPARATE GRADE. THE SEMESTER GRADE IS BASED ON THE TOTAL POINTS RECEIVED DURING THE SEMESTER, NOT THE AVERAGE OF THE 3 GRADING PERIODS.

PROGRESS REPORTS
Student progress is available on Infinite Campus. Please make sure you have access to the Infinite Campus Portal. There will be a printed progress report given to students two weeks prior to the end of the 6 week grading period. It is the student's responsibility to make sure that all work is turned in. Progress reports with a "C" or less must be returned with a parent signature.

HOMEWORK
When homework or projects are assigned, they are due on the day stated. Homework will not be accepted late unless you were absent the day the assignment was given or absent the day it was due. It will be due the next day after returning. Exceptions will be handled on an individual bases.

EXTRA CREDIT
Extra points are only given when the regular assignments have been completed.
