Class Fees and Expenses
The fee for this CCT classes for 1st & 2nd semester is $40.00. Unless you are in the 3d advance class, and the fee for that class is $50.00. The fee is due September 2nd, 2011. Please write check to: (Thomas Jefferson High School) or send cash with the student. A receipt will be given to student to show that they have paid their fee. This 3d advancefee covers software and class supplies and also includes membership into SkillsUSA.
Headphone
Because many assignments require listening to tutorials, it is required that all students purchase their own head/ear phones. I will have headphone for sale, but I strongly recommend that students buy a well made pair that will last the year.
Flash Disk or Thumb Drives (optional)
This small external hard drive will allow students to back up their files and also be able to transfer them from one computer to another. It is not required, but it is great to have just in case your files get trashed from the computer or server. (never give your password out). 1gb-4gb is recommended.
Competition Fee
Teams in the Advance Class and possibly the Intro classes will be given the opportunity to compete regionally with other schools that also offer 3D classes. For those who qualify for competition, there will be a fee that will be required at the time. Amount will depend on the location of the competition. The fee is about $70.00. The competition is normally held in April and last 2 and half days.
