Florence

We all had two whole days in Florence and what a two days those were! When we first got to Florence we immediately went to see the David. That was a really memorable trip, too. It was a lot different seeing him in person than seeing him on a postcard. Afterward, we took a tour of El Duomo, a huge church, and climbed 463 stairs to the top. That's 926 stairs both ways! Our legs were definitely shaking after that. Food was the main attraction on this trip and gelato was a must to get everywhere we went. Every time we saw a Gelateria we stopped and got some. At the end of the second day in Florence, though, it started raining cats and dogs! So here we were in the middle of Italy, fgetting soaked, with no sign of an umbrella in sight. But it was still an amazing part of the trip.
